Recordings - Lucky Clover Workshop: Goldwork Brooch or Hair Clip

Lucky Clover Goldwork workshop was taught in 2 sessions via Zoom.

The cost of the workshop includes the kit with all the materials needed to complete the project: fabrics, threads, purls, felt, needles and more.
 
Apart from what's included in the kit you will need:
 
- 6 inches hand free embroidery hoop
- Goldwork embroidery scissors or embroidery scissors that you will use only to cut metals. I recommend 4″ Janome Kai Embroidery 
- A velvet board or soft surface to cut the metals (i.e. a piece of felt)
- Mellor (optional - you can also use one of the chenille needles included in the kit)
 
During this workshop I'm teaching all the necessary techniques to complete the project but some experience in embroidery is recommended.
 
You will learn about goldwork metals, how to work with them and different stitches and techniques such as: couching, chipping, padding, cutwork. you will also learn how to finish the piece and build a brooch or hair clasp. Please, choose your preferred option before check out.
